Representação e violência nos contos “Venha ver o pôr do sol”, de Lygia Fagundes Telles, e “Rapunzel”, de Bernadette Lyra

Resumo

O presente artigo propõe uma análise intratextual e intertextual dos contos “Venha ver o pôr do sol” de Lygia Fagundes Telles e “Rapunzel” de Bernadette Lyra, com o objetivo de investigar nas narrativas pontos de tensão e distensão sobre experiências de violência na linguagem e nas relações humanas. Para tanto, recorre-se à fortuna crítica acerca dos textos, além do aporte teórico de Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, Gilbert Durand e outros sobre representação, imagem e planos simbólicos, Jean Chevalier e Alain Gheerbrant sobre simbologia e Georges Bataille sobre o interdito do incesto e do crime. O trabalho considera que os textos mobilizam recursos fundamentais, como a metáfora e a sintaxe fragmentada, para a representação da violência num relacionamento romântico e numa relação parental, respectivamente no conto de Telles e no de Lyra, o que possibilita o conhecimento sobre processos de resistência, mobilizados pelas autoras, diante da persistência da desigualdade de gênero.

ABSTRACT: This article proposes an intertextual analysis of “Venha ver o pôr do sol” by Lygia Fagundes Telles and “Rapunzel” by Bernadette Lyra, aiming to investigate the points of tension and distension in the narratives about experiences of violence in language and human relations. For this, the critical fortune about the texts is used, besides the theoretical support of Roland Barthes, Walter Benjamin, Gilbert Durand, and others on representation, image and symbolic plans, Jean Chevalier and Alain Gheerbrant on symbolism and Georges Bataille on the interdict of incest and crime. The work considers that the texts mobilize fundamental resources, such as metaphor and fragmented syntax, for the representation of violence in a romantic and parental relationship, respectively in Telles’s and Lyra’s, which enables the knowledge of resistance processes, mobilized by the authors, in the face of persistent inequality of gender.
