Argentina under the Milei Government

After 1,000 days of Javier Milei’s far-right government in Argentina, it is necessary to move beyond a phenomenological analysis centred on the individual and focus on the essential aspects underlying the reconfiguration of local capitalism within the framework of the crisis and reorganisation of the global capitalist system. Local and global dimensions are considered to explain the situation of capitalism in Argentina and the economic, political, and cultural changes manifested by the far-right government, while also raising questions about potential alternative paths.
