Avaliando a energia escura através de fração de massa de gás

Exploramos a possibilidade de quebrar a degenerescência escura utilizando medidas da fração de massa de gás observada em aglomerados de galáxias massivos e gravitacionalmente relaxados. Estudamos o caso particular $w$CDM e sua contrapartida interagente. Comparamos os resultados obtidos nas duas descrições físicas do setor escuro com uma reconstrução não-paramétrica obtida através de Processos Gaussianos. Ainda que a degenerescência tenha sido quebrada em teoria, nossa análise mostra que as medidas atuais da fração de massa de gás são insuficientes para obter uma conclusão final para qual abordagem é favorecida, mesmo quando combinada com SNIa, BAO e CMB.
