Sociological Perspectives on Education and the Teaching of Social Sciences

The socio-anthropological debate on education takes place in two complementary strands. The first involves a set of research that explores educational themes, considering the the- oretical and methodological framework of social sciences. The second involves specific debates about the teaching of social sciences in school settings across elementary, high school, and higher education levels. The dossier encompasses both strands and aims to establish itself as a repository of texts on these topics, as well as to raise new questions to guide future research.
