Abstract

This article analyzes the potential of Interactive Digital Television (TVDi)—within the context of the Brazilian Digital Television System (SBTVD) as it transitions to TV 3.0—as a medium for cultural dissemination and arts education in Brazil. The research approaches the technology not merely as a technical platform, but as a sensory device capable of fostering educational innovation and the democratization of culture. Grounded in concepts of media convergence, cyberculture, and poetics of creation, the article discusses the integration of art, technology, and education. It highlights the role of this technology in distance education, social inclusion, and the valuing of cultural diversity. The study identifies TVDi as a strategic tool for interactive pedagogical practices and contemporary aesthetic experiences.
