Introduction: The Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (Aids) is caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). HIV/Aids is a major public health problem. Objective: To characterize the clinical-epidemiological profile of people living with HIV/Aids, residing in the municipality of Marabá, between the years 2017 to 2021. Methods: This is an observational research, quantitative approach, retrospective, based on a survey from the medical records of patients enrolled at the Testing and Counseling Center (CTA) in Marabá/ PA, between the years 2017 to 2021. The variables analyzed were: socioeconomic data, category of exposure and disease. Results: 507 medical records of patients residing in the city of Marabá and assisted by the CTA/ SAE were analyzed, 62.8% of these patients were male; in males, there was a higher incidence in young people aged between 29 and 38 years, single, self-declared brown, heterosexual and with complete high school; in females, the infection was prevalent between the ages of 39 to 49 years, single, self-declared brown, heterosexual and with incomplete elementary education. Conclusion: The research shows that the epidemiological clinical profile of HIV/Aids infection in the city of Marabá/PA is composed of male patients, heterosexual, young, of mixed race/color, with complete high school and without health problems. The lack of filling and incorrect filling of several fields of the patients’ medical records is one of the limitations presented in the present study, therefore, training and knowledge of the health professional is necessary at the time of the correct filling of the medical records.
