The publication of the abstracts presented at DOF UPDATE: 2nd Interprofessional Immersion in TMD and Orofacial Pain reflects the success of a multidisciplinary event organized by the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). Held at the FAESA auditorium in Vitória, Brazil, the meeting brought together specialists and researchers committed to advancing knowledge in this field. In its second edition, the event featured the participation of health professionals and renowned researchers who shared innovations and technologies aimed at the treatment and prevention of temporomandibular disorders and other orofacial pain conditions. Considering that such disorders represent the third most common cause of non-odontogenic pain worldwide, the initiative highlights the relevance of promoting spaces for scientific updating, professional training, and the exchange of experiences. The event was consolidated as an opportunity to strengthen academic collaboration networks and to disseminate knowledge in favor of population health. We congratulate the organizing committee, lecturers, and authors for their dedication, and we thank all participants for their engagement and trust.
