Gregorio Magno, Rom. 11, 25-26 y la conversión de los judíos en el fin de los tiempos

En este artículo se explora la posición de Gregorio Magno en relación a la noción paulina de conversión de los judíos en el fin de los tiempos enunciada en Epístola a los Romanos 11, 25-26. La investigación pone en evidencia que Gregorio sigue el pasaje paulino solo en sus textos con fuerte peso exegético – Moralia, Homiliae in Hiezechihelem y Homiliae in Evangelia – mientras que la temática de la conversión final aparece ausente en el resto de sus obras. Ello se explica si se toma en cuenta que Gregorio refirió – en sus obras exegéticas – a judíos hermenéuticos mientras que en las restantes – entre las que resalta el Registrum epistularum por sus explícitas menciones a comunidades judias – el énfasis estuvo en los judíos históricos.
