Espaços urbanos e relações de poder no Egito romano

Os estudos sobre o Egito romano, durante muito tempo, não se dedicaram a explorar a influência romana na configuração das cidades, ao que parece não muito evidente no interior do território egípcio. No entanto, esta é uma temática que tem sido abordada cada vez com mais frequência por historiadores e arqueólogos. O Egito romano normalmente é considerado como sendo constituído por póleis de fundação grega, por metrópoles (capitais dos nomos) e por aldeias. A partir desta configuração, propomos abordar a questão das relações de poder e da formação do espaço urbano na chora egípcia, ou seja, o Egito, com exceção da cidade de AlexandriaDownloads
