Retórica e identidad: el episodio del centurión de Cafarnaún en la Literatura Evangélica

Resumo

Los Evangelios contienen episodios interesantes para analizar a fin de observar los conflictos organizativos de las primeras comunidades cristianas en Oriente. En el periodo posterior a la guerra judía, las identidades cristianas buscaron definirse en medio de tensiones y debates con el judaísmo rabínico. En este trabajo proponemos ver algunos aspectos de este proceso a partir del análisis del relato del centurión de Cafarnaún y su esclavo enfermo. Los evangelistas enfrentan a Jesús con un gentil que realiza una interesante defensa del concepto de obediencia vinculándolo con la fe. Las variantes redaccionales nos permitirán analizar los intereses retóricos de estas comunidades, sus proyectos organizativos y sus perspectivas sobre el imperio.
