Abstract
Abstract: This article deals with the Nietzschean ideal of freedom, exploring the correspondence between freedom and self-cultivation. The practices of self-making, as practices of freedom, are understood as the working material of Nietzsche’s immoralist experiment. This question unfolds into different issues around the theme, concerning the construction of a Self, becoming who one is, the different regimes of instinct cultivation and the political implications of his immoralist experiment.
