One of the most unique aspects of Nietzsche's philosophy stems from the link he established between his life and his work. A person of unstable health, the author himself indicated the importance of the relationship between health and thought for the understanding of his philosophy. The following text will deal with this dynamic, giving special emphasis to the idea of convalescence (Genesung), as it is mobilized in an affirmative perspective in his writings.
