Resumen

Este ensaio revisita as especulações metapolíticas (ou arquipolíticas) de Nietzsche sobre a Europa através dos prismas interligados de classe e raça. Ele examina em que medida uma modalidade de ‘racismo de classe’ – ou, na formulação de Domenico Losurdo, um ‘racismo transversal’ –cumpriria um papel nas visões antidemocráticas de Nietzsche de uma unificação europeia. Em uma seção final, o ensaio rastreia elementos da problematização tardia de Nietzsche de uma ‘grande política’ europeia na dimensão política, muitas vezes negligenciada, de seus escritos sobre a tragédia grega antiga e sobre a necessidade da escravidão para a cultura, ao mesmo tempo em que aborda a maneira como esses escritos serviram como referência para uma poética anticolonial.
