About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The online-only journal Health and Biosciences aims to publish articles related to the areas of knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Biological, Health, and Educational Sciences, both in humans and animals. It accepts essays, experience reports, communications, reviews, and original research of a multidisciplinary nature.

Frequency

The journal Health and Biosciences adopts continuous publication with three issues per year.

Peer Review Policy

The journal Health and Biosciences has a double-blind peer review system, and publications can be in Portuguese, Spanish, or English. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal, which publishes articles on topics related to the focus and scope described, are subject to review by accredited and independent reviewers.

Open Access Policy

The journal Health and Biosciences offers immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public promotes greater global democratization.

Copyright Statement and Policy

Authors acknowledge that they hold the copyright and grant the right of first publication to Health and Biosciences, licensed simultaneously under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to share the work with acknowledgement of its authorship and initial publication in this journal.

Submission and Publication Fees

The Health and Biosciences journal does not charge any fees for texts submitted for review and publication.

Journal History

Created in 2020 due to an increasing demand for scientific dissemination, the Health and Biosciences journal offers new opportunities for publishing manuscripts related to the areas of knowledge of Pharmaceutical, Biological, Health, and Educational Sciences.
