Este estudio realiza una revisión bibliométrica sobre las carreras creativas, con el objetivo de mapear la producción científica global, identificar vacíos y proponer una agenda de investigaciones futuras. Se analizaron 166 artículos publicados en las bases de datos Web of Science y Scopus, utilizando el software RStudio® con el paquete Bibliometrix® y VOSviewer® para los análisis bibliométricos. Los resultados señalan un crecimiento significativo de las publicaciones sobre carreras creativas a partir de 2016, y las redes de cocitación evidencian núcleos teóricos consolidados y temas emergentes, como las neurociencias y la salud mental en relación con las carreras creativas. La agenda propuesta sugiere investigaciones sobre digitalización, segmentación de los sectores creativos, estrategias de supervivencia en el contexto pospandemia, así como estudios que utilicen métodos biográficos. El estudio contribuye al avance teórico y conceptual del campo, destacando la multidisciplinariedad como elemento central.
