CONTROLE ALTERNATIVO DA COCHONILHA DA ROSETA COM A INTERAÇÃO DE ÓLEO E CASCA DO FRUTO DE PINHÃO MANSO

Resumo

Com o objetivo de reduzir e/ou substituir os agrotóxicos por produtos alternativos, estudou-se o uso da interação de óleo e casca do fruto de pinhão manso, quanto à sua atividade inseticida sobre a cochonilha da roseta Planococcus citri (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). As relações de interações dos tratamentos foram 0-100; 25-75; 50-50; 75-25; 100-0% de óleo e casca do fruto de pinhão manso, respectivamente, utilizando discos de folhas de café (4 cm de diâmetro) contendo 10 cochonilhas. As soluções foram aplicadas sobre os indivíduos com auxílio da torre de Potter, com pressão exercida de 15lb/pol² e volume de 6ml de solução por repetição. Na proporção de 100% de óleo de pinhão-manso observou-se mortalidade de P. citri em 29,6%, e não foi observada atividade inseticida significativa na associação.
