A Construção da “Hegemonia” Neoliberal no Brasil

Abstract

A análise busca compreender como o modelo político-econômico neoliberal operou a constituição de sua “Hegemonia” no Brasil a partir do final do século XX. Relacionando as transformações na estrutura da sociedade internacional e nacional, as transformações nos grupos dominantes e a consolidação do modelo neoliberal no Brasil. Para isso retoma a discussão do conceito de hegemonia em Gramsci, transpondo-o para a realidade política brasileira.

ABSTRACT

This paper aims to understand the ways in which the neoliberal political-economic approach organized the establishment of its "hegemony" in Brazil in the late twentieth century. By connecting the changes observed in the structure of international and national societies, the transformation of dominant groups and the consolidation of the neoliberal model in Brazil, the paper deals with the historical background of the neoliberal politics in Brazil. In order to do that, the paper presents a discussion on the concept of hegemony as pointed out by Gramsci, transposing it to the Brazilian political reality.
