A fundamentação da intuição em A Evolução Criadora

Segundo Bergson, a evolução do reino animal se completou em duas vias divergentes, uma dando no instinto e a outra na inteligência. Oelã vital ou a consciência lançada através da matéria fixou sua atenção sobre o próprio movimento vital ou sobre a matéria que ela atravessava, orientando-se no sentido da intuição ou da inteligência. Nesse artigo procuramos mostrar que o método filosófico sugerido por Bergson estabelece uma relação entre teoria do conhecimento e teoria da vida ao restaurar as grandes linhas que a evolução percorreu e empreendendo um esforço de fundir com a inteligência a consciência adormecida, retraída sob si mesma sob a forma de instinto.
