A constituição da angústia em Sartre: do patológico ao ontológico

Abstract

“A angústia sou eu”, diz Sartre em uma passagem de sua obra O Ser e o Nada, querendo com isso significar a inseparabilidade entre a realidade humana e essa Angústia que ela experimenta. Para o pensador francês a Angústia se dá como característica fundamental do homem, característica essa que está estritamente ligada a outro traço ontológico humano, a liberdade. É pela captação da liberdade como algo intransponível que o homem se apreenderá como uma intransponível Angústia. A partir disso, além de abordar a ligação entre Angústia e liberdade, a questão que se coloca neste artigo é a seguinte: se há realmente tal inseparabilidade entre homem e Angústia, qual seria o motivo de que a Angústia seja vista socialmente como algo excepcional, ou até mesmo patológico?
