Atos supererrogatórios, lógica e escopos morais

Recentemente alguns filósofos retomaram a discussão tradicionalmente religiosa sobre atos de santos. Tais atos, também atribuídos aos heróis, denominados “supererrogatórios”, indicam um limite para as exigências efetuadas pelas teorias morais baseadas no dever. No presente artigo, apresento brevemente o problema da existência de atos supererrogatórios e argumento que tais atos são logicamente possíveis e moralmente concebíveis através da sua avaliação por distintos foros morais, como, por exemplo, a análise de uma situação partindo de uma teoria do dever e complementada por uma teoria das virtudes.
