Considerações Hegelianas sobre a relação entre religião cristã e estado moderno

Esse artigo trata das relações entre Estado e religião cristã, como colocadas em alguns escritos de Hegel, fundamentais para esse tema, a partir da interpretação de E. Boeckenfoerde. Arrancando-se da concepção hegeliana de Estado substancial que depende da religião para sua sustentação espiritual, chega-se às conseqüências de uma vinculação entre ambas as instâncias, como relações de reconhecimento mútuo. A consideração das diferenças da posição hegeliana diante da posição hoje predominante da neutralidade do Estado em relação a imagens religiosas do mundo é abordada nesse artigo, que conclui com reflexões sobre a nossa situação contemporânea em relação à temática em estudo.
