Considerações de Freud sobre a guerra e a morte, sob o prisma das disposições filogenéticas

Este artigo analisa as Considerações atuais sobre a guerra e a morte, de Freud, destacando seus aspectos filogenéticos. Defende que, de acordo com Freud, a desilusão proporcionada pela guerra revelou aspectos das disposições humanas que a civilização moderna hipocritamente tenta esconder e acaba por modifica-las. São elas, nossa posição corajosa contra a morte (para nós,só no inconsciente a morte não existe e, portanto, só na fantasia somos capazes dearriscar nossas vidas e dar pleno sentido a ela) e nossa hostilidade contra os outros. Somos covardes e nos autorrecriminamos,sem saber o porquê, nas relações com os outros.O fato da hostilidade ser inconsciente faz com que, quando ela se manifesta, no soldado que mata, por exemplo, não haja responsabilidade pelo ato.Se a guerra revelou a coragem que existe por trás da covardia, revelou também como lidamos com a hostilidade que existe por trás da compaixão: não nos responsabilizamos por ela.Downloads
