Como escrever a quatro mãos

No presente ensaio, Michael Hardt versa sobre a sua parceria intelectual com Antonio Negri, especialmente no que concerne à escrita conjunta dos dois. Ao fazê-lo, o intelectual estadunidense primeiramente comenta a ocasião de seu encontro com o filósofo e militante italiano, na última década de oitenta. Em seguida, ele trata do que nomeia método atributivo, amplamente apoiado no trabalho das revistas políticas italianas dos anos sessenta e setenta do último século, que guiou seu trabalho colaborativo com Negri. Então, algumas considerações sobre a escrita conjunta em si mesma são realizadas, destacando-se o critério espinosano para a colaboração e o “excesso” produtivo propiciado por ela. Enfim, uma breve comparação entre o processo colaborativo nas Humanidades e nas Ciências ditas “duras” é feita, encerrando o ensaio.
