In his third thesis on not-being, Gorgias divorces the speech on object of the object itself. But, if the lógos not say being, what does it say? For this question, I seek an approach that rehabilitate the rhetoric as way to speculate the World, showing how it can be nearest to philosophy. Therefore, firstly, I will present the paraphrases of On What Is Not treatise. Then, from the third thesis, I will expose the rhetoric as inventio. Lastly, from the inventiveness of rhetoric, I will propose a persuasive worldview, showing the nearness between persuasion and speculation.
Resumo
Em sua terceira tese sobre o não-ser, Górgias divorcia o discurso sobre um objeto do objeto mesmo. Mas, se o lógos não diz o ser, então o que ele diz? Para essa questão, propõe-se uma abordagem que procura reabilitar a retórica enquanto um modo de especular o Mundo, mostrando quão próxima pode ser da filosofia. Para tanto, em primeiro lugar, apresentam-se as paráfrases do Tratado do não-ser. Em seguida, desde a terceira tese, expõe-se a retórica enquanto inventio. Por fim, com base na inventividade da retórica, propõe-se uma cosmovisão de viés persuasivo, mostrando a proximidade entre persuasão e especulação.
