Abstract

This article sets out to highlight the geometric and astronomical metaphors present in Friedrich Hölderlin's Hyperion, which are linked to those of the same order applied in the excerpts from Heraclitus of Ephesus, the author to whom the German poet and thinker attributes the genesis of philosophy, and from which we can see the way in which he works with the notion of circularity as a method of philosophical approach to the theme of formation, in terms of content and form.
