Iniciativas legislativas acerca da violência doméstica contra mulher no contexto da pandemia decorrente da covid-19

Abstract

The present research intends to analyze Law Projects and Laws that have as content policies to combat domestic violence against women during the Covid-19 pandemic. To this end, the exploratory method was used, aiming at the analysis of legislative initiatives in the face of the increase in violence against women in times of a pandemic, as well as the exploration of Bills and Laws in the public domain, and/or state omission related to the cited problem. Considering that, of the 24 bills aimed at creating public policies to combat violence against women, only 02 were approved in the period of highest incidence of the Covid-19 pandemic, it was evident how deficient the Legislative Branch still it’s in Brazil in times of crisis and public calamity.
