A dissidência tradicionalista: a reinvenção da extrema direita brasileira como aliança “vermelho-marrom”

Authors

Abstract

This article analyzes the self-named Traditionalist Dissidence, made up of organizations such as Nova Resistência and Frente Sol da Pátria which seek to reinvent the Brazilian extreme right in competition with the legacy of Olavo de Carvalho and Bolsonarism and disputing nationalism and laborism. Intending a new synthesis that overcomes the divisions between left and right in a “red-brown” alliance, these organizations act by connecting themes of the left, with strategies and concepts of the international scene of neo-fascism, the radical right and the Traditionalist thought of René Guénon, Julius Evola and Aleksandr Dugin.
