Nota explicativa acerca dos denominados pequenos pontos vermelhos (LRDs, do inglês little red dots) observados pelo telescópio James Webb. Tais objetos compactos e de grande massa teriam se formado em uma época em que o universo ainda era bastante jovem, o que suscita questionamentos na comunidade científica, dado que não haveria tempo suficiente para a formação de objetos com brilho avermelhado tão pronunciado, característico de galáxias velhas.
