La relación entre la gestión de la Calidad Total y la Industria 4.0: una propuesta de modelo teórico

El potencial de la Cuarta Revolución Industrial está siendo investigado simultáneamente con su propia evolución. En este escenario aún emergente, se evidencia la necesidad de estudios que integren los principios de la Gestión de la Calidad Total (TQM) con las tecnologías habilitadoras de la Industria 4.0. El objetivo de este artículo es proponer un modelo teórico que relacione los fundamentos de la TQM con los componentes tecnológicos de la Industria 4.0. Para ello, se realizó una Revisión Sistemática de la Literatura (RSL), complementada con técnicas de bibliometría descriptiva y análisis de redes sociales, con el fin de identificar las principales conexiones, vacíos y tendencias del campo. Los resultados muestran un aumento significativo en la producción científica a partir de 2019, destacando investigaciones sobre Big Data Analytics, Inteligencia Artificial e integración digital en sistemas de calidad. El modelo teórico propuesto ofrece una base conceptual sólida para futuras investigaciones empíricas y orienta a los gestores industriales en la adopción de prácticas de calidad acordes con el contexto de la Industria 4.0.
