Abstract

In its 22nd issue, Revista do Colóquio presents works that expose processes, critical analyzes and historical narratives in different contexts linked to the perception, representation and presence of color in works of art, with its most diverse poetic, philosophical, anthropological, sociopolitical and cultural. In addition to the texts included in the theme that gives this edition its title, we present articles, experience reports, visual essays, reviews and translations of free themes.

Author Biography

Rodrigo Hipólito, LabArtes-UFES/DepCom-UFES

Master in Theory and History of Art from the Postgraduate Program in Arts at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (PPGA-UFES) and Bachelor in Fine Arts from the same institution; Professor at the Department of Art and Music Theory (DTAM-UFES, 2015-2020), at the Department of Communication (DepCom-UFES, 2023-2024) at the Federal University of Espírito Santo and at the Pedagogy and Psychology courses at the European College of Vitória (FAEV, 2015-2023); Develops research on Art Historiography and Art History in Latin America, on the use and meanings of image and appropriation strategies in the most recent Art productions and new media; He is the presenter of the podcast Não Pod Tocar, debater on MIDcast Politics, member of the Research Laboratory in Theories of Art and Processes (LabArtes-UFES), editor of Revista do Colóquio (periodicos.ufes.br/colartes), editor of the website Nota Manuscript (notamanuscrita.com); Artist and critic working for the groups Coletivo Monographic and Nota Manuscript, with which he has been producing texts, videos, performance actions and installations since 2009. He received the Bolsa Ateliê awards, from the State Secretariat for Culture of Espírito Santo, with the installation project " Infimos Corriqueiros - Detail Possessivos" (2012-2013) and Núcleo de Criação Rede Cultura Jovem (2010-2011). He worked as a mediator at the Palácio Anchieta Cultural Space (2009-2013), was responsible for the technical reserve/collection of the Art Museum of the State of Espírito Santo (MAES, 2008-2009) and was a teacher at the Municipal Education Secretariat of Cariacica (2006- 2008).
