Author Biography

Christian Laval, Universidade Paris-Ouest Nanterre-La Défense

He is professor emeritus of sociology at the Paris-Ouest-Naterre-La Défense University and the author of several books. In Brazil, he published Foucault, Bourdieu and the neoliberal question (Elefante, 2020), The school is not a company (Boitempo, 2019) and, with Pierre Dardot, The new reason of the world (Boitempo, 2016) and Common (Boitempo, 2017) , in addition to The Shadow of October (Perspectiva, 2018).
