TOXICIDADE DE COMPONENTES MAJORITÁRIOS SOBRE Helicoverpa armigera HUBNER (LEPIDOPTERA: NOCTUIDAE)
Resumen
Helicoverpa armigera Hübner (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), vulgarmente conhecida como a lagarta-do-Velho-Mundo, é um inseto polífago que causa elevados prejuízos para várias culturas, incluindo algodão, milho, sorgo, leguminosas e várias culturas hortícolas. O presente trabalho objetivou avaliar a toxicidade dos componentes majoritários, Carvacrol cloreto 5%, Guiacol 5%, Guiacol eter etílico 5%, Carvacrol 100%, Timoxido de sódio 1% de sódio sobre H. armigera. Os componentes majoritários apresentaram toxicidade entre 2 a 32%. Contudo, estudos sobre o modo de ação desses compostos ainda são necessários, pois só foi realizado teste de contato, sabendo que os monoterpenos tem ação de repelência, anti-alimentar e efeito subletal.
