Haitianos no Brasil: do ingresso pela Amazônia à inserção precarizada

Abstract

O artigo sintetiza os resultados parciais de pesquisa realizada no contexto da Amazônia brasileira, especialmente na região da Amazônia Sul Ocidental (Estado do Acre), a principal porta de entrada de imigrantes haitianos no país, no período de 2010 a 2015. Por considerar que o caso lança luz sobre o contexto do trabalho e das migrações no Brasil e no mundo contemporâneo, o objetivo é a apresentação da experiência de campo acumulada desde o momento inicial de acompanhamento desse processo, para posteriormente discutir, com base no acervo de referências empíricas e teóricas da sociologia crítica do trabalho, o panorama de inserção desses imigrantes no mercado laboral brasileiro.

Letícia Helena Mamed, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP)

Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Sociologia da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Bacharelado (2003) e Mestrado (2005) em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). Premiada com a Láurea Acadêmica de Graduação (2003). Aprovada em concurso público (2008) da Universidade Federal do Acre (UFAC) e nomeada (2009) como docente de Teoria Social do Centro de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas (CFCH). É professora e pesquisadora em regime de Dedicação Exclusiva (Adjunto I), com atuação no ensino (graduação e colaboração na pós-graduação), extensão e pesquisa científica.
