O serviço social e o Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS): desafios éticos ao trabalho profissional

Propõe uma reflexão concernente à implantação do Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS), no que diz respeito ao trabalho do Assistente Social, como membro da equipe dos Centros de Referência da Assistência Social (CRAS) e Centros de Referência Especializados de Assistência Social (CREAS) na prestação de serviços e na execução das ações. Contextualiza o debate, a partir da realidade da contra reforma do Estado brasileiro e situa o Serviço Social como especialização do trabalho coletivo, fundado no projeto de formação em Serviço Social, bem como o projeto ético-político da profissão sob a lógica dos eixos que dizem respeito à formação (ético-político, teórico-metodológico, técnico-operativo) nas competências da profissão, sobre os novos espaços sócio-ocupacionais dos Assistentes Sociais, espaços esses nos quais, diante das transformações societárias, se situa o SUAS. Para tanto, o texto constrói um diálogo com as diretrizes do SUAS e os princípios enunciados no Código de ética dos Assistentes Sociais, apontando os elementos que aproximam essas diretrizes e problematizando as categorias que são centrais.Palavras-chave: Serviço Social.
