Changes in global climate patterns have altered hydrological cycles, affecting water availability and the predictability of growing seasons. Given these challenges, it is essential to understand the evolution of scientific research on coffee cultivation. This study aimed to perform a bibliometric analysis of the literature on the relationship between climate change and coffee production, in order to identify trends and key scientific contributors. Data were collected from the Scopus and Web of Science databases and analyzed using the bibliometrix package in the R environment. The results showed a significant increase in publications, especially after 2020, indicating the consolidation of this topic as an emerging research field. Brazil stood out as the leading contributor, followed by the United States and France, with strong international collaboration. José Domingos Cochicho Ramalho was identified as the most influential author. The most frequent keywords were “climate change,” “coffee,” “Coffea arabica,” “agroforestry,” “crop production,” and “crop yield,” highlighting a focus on interactions among climate, productivity, and management. Despite advances, gaps remain in integrating environmental, productive, and socioeconomic dimensions, as well as in translating scientific findings into practical applications, underscoring the need for more integrated and application-oriented research.
