Fuses: Erotismo no curta-metragem de Carolee Schneemann
Abstract
Fuses (1967) é o primeiro curta-metragem da trilogia autobiográfica da artista polivalente Carolee Schneemann. No filme, a cineasta produz uma polêmica visão erótica feminina de si mesma e seu parceiro da época, James Tenney, envolvidos em cenas que celebram de forma silenciosa o amor heterossexual, vigiados pelo gato Kitch em sua casa. As cenas que se revezam em alguns ambientes são romantizadas por texturas, arranhões e pinturas sobrepostas no próprio celulóide, alcançadas por uma técnica desenvolvida por Carolee. Este artigo vem investigar o erotismo no filme pelo ângulo sexual feminino, com repulsa à pornografia; desenvolve hipóteses acerca do fato do filme ser silencioso; problematiza também, a forma com que o filme foi produzido por Schneemann e recebido pelo espectador, pelo ambiente artístico e pela crítica.Downloads
