Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references or external material have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Papers can be written in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian or French, not exceeding the limit of 2500 words (excluding references and acknowledgements). The formatting model used is the same one used in the Ubiquitous Music Symposium, which, in turn, follows the standard template for the SBC events.

Papers  must be submitted in editable format (Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF).

All submissions will be thoroughly peer-reviewed in a single-blind process; therefore, we ask that you remove author identification and all self-references from the submitted text. Accepted papers will be published continuously as soon as they arrive and go through the entire editorial process.

Related papers

Each volume of j-ubimus is conceived in such a way as to accommodate a central article complemented by other articles that make references and/or comments on the topics addressed therein. Articles must have a maximum of 2500 words, excluding references. Also, they can be written in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French or Italian – please give preference to your first language; All submissions will be peer reviewed in a single blind process. Please remove author identification and all self-references from the submitted text. Accepted articles will be published continuously as soon as they arrive and go through the entire editorial process.
