Learning difficulties in children

Abstract

The main objective of this work is to present a study on learning difficulties in children. Learning difficulties are intrinsic to the individual and can affect the learning and behavior of all individuals, including those with partially average, average or above average intelligence. Learning Difficulties can be approached from very different perspectives, such as medical, psychological, educational, administrative or socioeconomic, who have different needs and interests. If a learning difficulty is detected, it is necessary to make a diagnosis, which allows us to know whether the child who appears to have difficulties in any particular area, in a specific area and what they are. The school must strive to make learning meaningful for the student, and seek methodologies to detect learning difficulties in students. The child enters culture through the mastery of instrumental techniques that will be the basis for future intellectual developments. However, due to a lack of intellectual work or study techniques, we see that students are failing little by little, that their academic results are insufficient. Perhaps the educator's task is to increase the student's skills and direct their learning rather than to find techniques to correct later problems.
