Jataizinho (PR): the imperial past to deconstruction in Republic

Abstract

The urban complex of the Northern Paraná has as its genesis the military colony of Jatay, which in many historical events praised its creation and existence. However, with the Republic, the city, which was renamed Jataizinho, lost its historical importance and thus become accustomed to live with a number of economic, social and environmental problems. Therefore, by documentary analyzing the geographic historical context of the consolidation of the State of Paraná sought to understand the evolution of the city, concurrently with economic, social and demographic.
