Violência contra mulheres em grandes projetos na Amazônia: mercadorização da vida no capitalismo

O artigo propõe-se a analisar a relação entre a expansão capitalista na Amazônia brasileira via grandes projetos, seus rebatimentos na ocorrência de violência contra mulheres e as múltiplas determinações e implicações que decorrem dela. Por meio de uma pesquisa teórica e documental sobre o tema, evidenciou-se o papel estratégico que os grandes projetos ocupam no conjunto de alternativas de restauração do capital no contexto de sua mundialização e crise estrutural, sendo a violência contra as mulheres funcional a este processo e indispensável aos projetos de larga escala na região.
