Agronegócio e capitalismo dependente na América Latina: o caso brasileiro

No trabalho em tela realiza-se um esforço de compreensão do capitalismo periférico latino-americano, especialmente o caso brasileiro, com base na dinâmica econômica do agronegócio. Parte-se da hipótese, a qual os dados apontam para uma confirmação, ainda que preliminar, de que a dependência econômica ligada ao agronegócio ensejou um novo patamar de dependência econômica, incorrendo numa nova dinâmica de acumulação e reprodução do capital na periferia. Para tanto, foram realizadas algumas incursões teóricas acerca do debate sobre o imperialismo e a teoria da dependência, bem como se procedeu à análise de indicadores econômicos relacionados ao comércio exterior.
