O texto de Abrahamson (2012) é abrangente e envolve a caracterização da história da formação do que conhecemos como modelo de Estado de bem-estar escandinavo, segundo a famosa tipologia de Esping-Andersen (1991). Chamando atenção para características específicas dos países nórdicos como principal fundamento explicativo para o desenvolvimento da dimensão universal da proteção, o autor situa historicamente a experiência escandinava e suas principais alterações diante da crise contemporânea. O objetivo desse breve comentário será, contudo, debruçar com mais acuidade sobre as reformas recentes do modelo escandinavo, que vem sendo realizadas nos anos 1990 e 2000, ressaltando alguns elementos pós-crise 2008-2009.Downloads
