Abstract

Um número da revista Argumentum dedicado à América Latina é mais do que justificável, não apenas por que se trata de nosso continente, mas porque esta região tanto constitui uma unidade, a nossa unidade, quanto apresenta uma diversidade ímpar frente aos demais continentes e regiões do mundo. É claro que no caso europeu ou asiático, por exemplo, a uniformidade não significa negar as especificidades culturais e sociais que cada país possui em relação à região em que se insere

Docente-pesquisadora da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Política Social e no Departamento de Serviço Social. Editora da revista Argumentum (www.periodicos.ufes/argumetum). Coordena o Núcleo de Estudos em Movimentos e Práticas Sociais (Nemps-Ufes). Graduada em Comunicação Social, mestre em Educação, master em Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade e doutora em Comunicação Social.

Fernando Ferrari, 514 - Goiabeiras 29075-910, Vitória (Brazil), (hereinafter "ARGUMENTUM"), according to the following terms and conditions:

1. I am aware of the terms of "Care Ethics Research Guide" described in the Policies section.
2. AUTHOR warrants to be the writer and copyright holder of the WORK submitted.
3. AUTHOR declares that the WORK does not infringe the rights of third-parties; that the distribution of images (if existent) was authorized; and that AUTHOR assumes total moral and property responsibility for their content.
4.
