Commented translation of Heisenberg's paper, “On the reinterpretation of kinematic and mechanical relations in quantum theory”

Abstract

We present the translation of the article published by Werner Heisenberg in 1925, which constitutes a landmark in the development of quantum mechanics. Some  introductory comments are presented, followed by the Portuguese version of the text originally written in German.

    Possui graduação em Bacharelado Em Física pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (1981), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1986) e doutorado em Doctorat d'université - Université Pierre et Marie Curie (1991). Atualmente é professor titular da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Tem experiência na área de Física, com ênfase em Teoria Geral de Partículas e Campos, atuando principalmente em cosmologia e gravitação.

    Oliver F. Piattella é Professor Adjunto na Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Como, Itália. Foi professor do Departamento de Física da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES), e pesquisador do Conselho Nacional de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (CNPq), de 2012 a 2021. Atua nas áreas de cosmologia e gravitação, tendo publicado mais de 50 artigos científicos e um livro-texto de cosmologia intitulado Lectures notes in Cosmology (Springer, 2018).
