O IDÍLIO PASTORIL E A TEATRALIDADE EM EL INGENIOSO HIDALGO DON QUIJOTE DE LA MANCHA

Resumo

Analisa-se na obra El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, de Miguel de Cervantes, o ambiente lírico-pastoril, buscando mostrar que esse tema, subjacente ao da cavalaria andante, gozava de certa predileção do autor, que já lhe dá destaque em sua primeira obra de ficção, La Galatea, que se publicou pela primeira vez em Alcalá de Henares, em 1585 e cujos ecos são detectados no Quijote. Avalia-se a teatralidade instaurada pelo ator. Destaca-se ainda a ressonância mais evidente advinda  das Églogas do poeta espanhol Garcilaso de la Vega (século XVI).

This paper analyses the lyrical-pastoral environment in Miguel de Cervantes's El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, in the attempt to show that this motif, underlying the theme of the errant knight, was a favorite of the author. It had already been highlighted in his first work of fiction, La Galatea, which was first published in Alcalá de Henares, in 1585, and shows detectable echoes in the Quijote.  The text investigates the theatricality introduced by the actor. Another aspect stressed in Cervantes' work is the clear resonance from the Éclogas, by the Spanish poet Garcilaso de la Vega (16th Century).
