DESCREVENDO O INIMIGO: FOLHETIM E ROMANCE POLICIAL COMO SISTEMAS DE VIGILÂNCIA DA CIDADE MODERNA

Resumo

Algumas invenções da modernidade funcionam como anteparos do choque decorrente do crescimento das cidades e da população. As tecnologias de visão são entendidas, assim, como uma maneira de administrar o adensamento do mundo e, ao mesmo tempo, se constituem como uma espécie de treinamento para novas experiências comportamentais e estéticas. O folhetim e o romance policial, entendidos como tecnologias de visão, porque apresentam relatos e pesquisas oriundas da observação do cotidiano, apresentam relações com saberes provenientes de invenções tecnológicas e apresentam características de uma modernidade neurológica, marcada pela excitação nervosa e pelo risco corporal.

ABSTRACT: Some inventions of modernity act as shields from the shock due to the growth of cities and population. The vision technologies are understood, as well as a way to manage the densification of the world and the same time, they constitute a kind of behavioral training for new experiences and aesthetics. Plus the inherent characteristics of its time, contemporary technologies work as a way to understand the relative strengths and sound like a necessary item to cataloging the poses and made everyday. The show and the detective novel, defined as vision technologies, have relationships with know lodge derived form technological inventions show its concern about neurological modernity marked by nervous excitement and the body danger.
