Invenção de Orfeu (1952), de Jorge de Lima, e seu diálogo com a comédia dantesca
Abstract
ABSTRACT: This study aims to identify resonances of A divina comédia (1472), by Dante Alighieri, in Invenção de Orfeu (1952), by Jorge de Lima, 20th century Brazilian poet. Having Literature Compared as the main study method, we draw on the writings of Silveira (1964), Carvalhal (1986) and Nitrini (2015) to to know how some authors (Wellek, Durisin, Valéry, Bloom, Borges, Kristeva etc.) deal with such a field of research. To understand the dantesque text, readings by authors such as Auerbach (1971), Lucchesi (2009; 2013) and Sterzi (2008) were undertaken. In relation to the Brazilian poet, texts such as those by Barreto (2009) and Mello (2009) served as a theoretical basis for understanding the modus operandi of Lima, in addition to anable knowledge about Brazilian poetry metaphysical. These authors justified our work so that we could identify and understand how the Brazilian established contact with dantesque comedy, maintaining their own traits.
