Abstract

This thematic dossier is linked to the academic debates of the 1st Symposium on Riverside Landscapes, which arose from the need to understand the aesthetic and urban relationships surrounding the development of art and the city in the context of the main cities bordering the rivers, as presented by the main cities of Espírito Santo and our Brazilian, Portuguese, and Spanish partners.

Author Biography

  • José Cirillo, PPGA-UFES/LEENA

    Full Professor at the Federal University of Espírito Santo; postdoctorate in Arts from the University of Lisbon; PhD in Communication from PUC-SP. He is a visual artist and permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Arts at UFES, conducting research on public art in Espírito Santo with funding from FAPES and CNPq.
