This is a review of the book on mapping and spatial-temporal dynamics of the Espírito Santo Mangroves, published in e-book format by the Instituto Estadual de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos of Espírito Santo, written by geographer Roberto José Hezer Moreira Vervloet. The book contains information and maps that are available on the institute’s website, where they can be downloaded free of charge by the general public, and is the first in a series of detailed mappings of the state’s ecosystems.
