Introduction: Basal cell carcinoma is the most common skin cancer. It tipically appears on regions of high sun exposure, such as head and neck (85%). Unusual injuries can develop in body areas with little or no sun exposure (10 – 15%). The axilla represents an extremely rare site for this cutaneous neoplasm, considering its anatomic sun protected localization. Popliteal fossa basal cell carcinoma is extremely rare and only one report is available in the literature. Case report: We report an uncommon case of axillary basal cell carcinoma and popliteal fossa with linear variant and its distinct morphological and histological characteristics.
